Research

Research work pursues the following objects:

 — Expansion of the University’s position in scientific area;

 — Development of existing scientific-research schools and trends, creation new ones as a basis for the university’s business environment;

 — Carrying out scientific support to regional development programmes.

Improvement of the framework of research organization for 2008 – 2012 includes:

 1. Change in the University research work management (University research work department, students research work department, post-graduate study department and organizational department creation)

 2. Carrying out the competition for the title of prizewinner in the sphere of scientific research, the title of the best chair, the best department proceeding from the results of research work

 3. Forming the Council of young scientists and experts

 4. Development of the research laboratories and centers system attached to the chairs according to basic scientific fields.
